Lloydminster RCMP have arrested three men for their involvement in numerous recent break-ins and thefts from vehicles in Lloydminster.
The three men were arrested in the early morning of November 12, 2008 after receiving complaints from the public of vehicles being broken into and stolen from. Many of the vehicles were damaged in the thefts with various personal items being stolen.
19 year-old Devon BIillay of Lloydminster, 19 year old Keagan Lovig of Lloydminster and 19 year old Andrew Dreaver of Sylvan Lake have each been charged with 19 counts of property damage, 11 counts of possessing stolen property and one count of possessing break-in instruments.
Billay has also been charged with one count of impaired driving.
As the thefts occurred on both sides of the Alberta-Saskatchewan border, the three men will be appearing in Saskatchewan Provincial Court on January 12, 2009 and in Alberta Provincial Court on January 13, 2009.
